Katesgrove Nursery Admissions

The responsibility of administering the admission process to the Acorn and Sapling Nursery classes is delegated to the Governing Body.

Katesgrove Nursery is for children aged 3-4 years old. We admit children from the age of three.  Children can be admitted the term after they turn three.  Attendance follows school terms and all sessions are term time only. 

We offer 15 hours funded hours which is available to all. We have two classes Acorns (morning sessions) and Saplings (afternoon sessions).

The 15-hour sessions may be accessed in one of the following session patterns:

• Mornings only: 8.25am-11.25am Monday to Friday
• Afternoons only: 12.25-3.25pm Monday to Friday

Parents can indicate their preferred choice of session on their application form when they register for a place. We try to accommodate these preferences, but the first choice may not always be available.

The Nursery is staffed by qualified teachers and early years practitioners. Each child will join a small group which is led by a member of staff (their key worker) who will be the main contact point for the child and their family.
